| THE TEAM The Northwoods Infrastructure Fund management team combines a wide range of experience, skills and relationships necessary to generate and manage high quality investment opportunities. The management team collectively has over 75 years of investment management and 100 years of infrastructure development and management. Michael Gallimore Michael Gallimore has 25 years of experience in investment management and securities analysis for institutional investors in Canada, the United States and internationally. Mr. Gallimore was most recently the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer for Northern Trust Global Advisors (Stamford, Connecticut), one of three leading manager of managers in the world, with clients including principally pension funds, endowment funds and ultra high net worth individuals.. As CEO/CIO Mr. Gallimore managed an international organization with US$15 billion under management across a broad range of asset classes including equities, debt, real estate and alternative investments including private equity and hedge funds. Prior to joining Northern Trust, Mr. Gallimore has extensive experience in investment consulting and management including serving as the pension fund manager for IBM Canada and Chairman for Memorandum Funds, Sun Life. Mr. Gallimore has a Bachelor of Commerce with a concentration in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Concordia University. Mr. Gallimore is also a Chartered Financial Analyst. John H. Walker John Walker has 30 years of infrastructure experience in Canada, United States and international markets. With an extensive career in infrastructure development spanning 80 countries, Mr. Walker has been involved in municipal planning and economic development, international business development with Ontario Hydro International, and investment banking with Loewen, Ondaatje McCutheon, as Managing Director of Privatization and Infrastructure. In his career, Mr. Walker has been involved as a Founding Director (10 years) of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority which has a $4.4 billion airport reconstruction project underway, Founding Director of Borealis Infrastructure Funds – the first fund dedicated to infrastructure investments in Canada, and is currently Chairman of US Geothermal (Boise, Idaho). Mr. Walker received a Master of Environmental Studies from York University and a Bachelor of Science in Urban Studies from Springfield College, Massachusetts. Eric M. Lerner Eric Lerner, a real estate portfolio manager and advisor to pension funds, has over 25 years of experience in the real estate investment and development field. Mr. Lerner has invested in numerous real estate investments in both Canada and the United States and is currently Vice-President, Real Estate and Infrastructure at Aurion Capital Management Inc. Prior to his current role at Aurion Capital, Mr. Lerner was President of Pension Real Estate Advisors Inc., which provides real estate consulting services to pension funds and institutional and high net worth individuals. Previously, Mr. Lerner was Vice President, Real Estate and Special Situations, Shell Canada Pension Fund Management Inc., where he provided portfolio management for real estate, oil and gas and private equities portfolios. In addition, Mr. Lerner has extensive experience in real estate development as well as construction and engineering for large industrial projects including, industrial chimneys for electric power plants and oil refineries across North America. Mr. Lerner has a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and a Master of Business Administration from McGill University. Mr. Lerner is currently a Director of Pension Fund Realty Limited and a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario. |
